Psychology Overview
Emotional
Freedom: Rapid relief from emotional and
physical disturbances
Meridian-based Energy Psychology incorporates leading-edge
treatment methods that integrate 5,000 years of Traditional
Chinese Medicine with current mind-body research. The
new techniques enable the body's natural healing system
to achieve lasting emotional, mental, and physical changes.
Healing is accomplished with a simplicity and speed
that astounds both clients and practitioners. This new
technology provides rapid relief from phobias, addictive
cravings, disruptive emotions, physical symptoms, and
trauma. It is compatible with other psychotherapies,
and clients are able to use these skills on their own
with great success. Clinicians serve as guides to help
the client identify the source of discomfort and apply
the tapping technique.
Outstanding
results:
Experts
in the field are reporting success rates of 80% to 100%.
My results are consistent with these findings. All of
my clients experience noticeable decreases in levels
of emotional and physical discomfort in minutes. Symptoms
are replaced by feelings of calm and wellbeing. Symptom
relief, muscle testing, and life experience verify the
success this new discipline is achieving to help people
change and heal.
Theoretical
foundation:
Energy
psychology draws on the disciplines of acupuncture,
acupressure, Applied Kinesiology, and quantum field
theory. These disciplines utilize the subtle energy,
lifeforce, that permeates the body and mind. The body-mind
system refers to the energy that the body circulates
and the information the mind stores. Meridians, the
energy circulatory system of the body, resemble the
intricate circuitry of veins and arteries. The subconscious
mind stores our experiences and beliefs as information.
The invisible, information-energy field is verified
through its effects upon our bodies and emotions. For
example, focusing on a negative experience will weaken
a muscle test response; while focusing on a joyful memory
will strengthen it.
Changing blocked energy and accessing stored information
leads to emotional, mental and behavioral changes. For
example, to heal an addiction a client focuses on the
object craved while stimulating the energy within a
meridian. This stimulation is provided by tapping or
holding a sequence of points on the body. The client
usually notices an immediate reduction in the craving.
Energy psychology techniques enable clinicians to utilize
meridian points near the surface of the body in order
to influence the information being processed by the
body-mind and its energy field. Outcome studies confirm
that alleviating negative emotions energetically leads
to a change in the negative thought patterns underlying
the symptoms. Releasing anger towards a person may change
a client's perception from being victimized to empowered,
thus making it possible to forgive or eliminate a resentment.
Clinical
applications:
These
revolutionary techniques achieve outstanding results
in resolving the following:
Negative emotions:
anxiety, panic, depression,
grief, anger, guilt and shame, jealousy
Phobias:
public speaking, flying, dental
work, snakes, spiders, claustrophobia
Current or past traumatic experiences:
rape, childhood abuse, war,
terrorism, accident, death of a loved one
Addictions and addictive cravings:
food, smoking, alcohol, shopping,
destructive relationship, longing for love
Physical Discomfort:
headaches, pain, asthma, physical
tension, allergies, snoring, insomnia
Negative beliefs:
low self-esteem, self-doubt,
self-rejection, inability to risk change,
abandonment and rejection,
perceived helplessness, sexual inhibitions,
obsessions
Life stresses:
taking an exam, sitting in
traffic, moving, divorce, parenting, illness
How
I work with these techniques:
The
three Energy Psychology techniques that I use are: Emotional
Freedom Techniques (EFT), Tapas Acupressure Technique
(TAT), and Be Set Free Fast (BSFF). These techniques
are producing amazing results with my clients as I integrate
them with my intuitive skills and professional training.
Levels of discomfort, i.e., anxiety, anger, sadness,
post traumatic stress, and physical pain, are reduced
or eliminated 90% of the time. However, lasting results
for chronic conditions require exploring the many aspects
to be cleared. This takes persistence; but positive
outcomes are achieved within weeks or months, not years
of psychotherapy.
I
select a technique based on the needs of the client.
I usually begin with EFT because it wakes up the body's
natural healing system dramatically and clients can
feel the energy shift and symptom relief easily. BSFF
directly engages the subconscious mind with its repressed
memories of traumatic experiences. TAT activates the
body's cellular memory and neutralizes the effects of
trauma not only from the personal past but from the
inherited patterns carried forward from ancestors. For
example, allergies to wheat may have begun in a another
generation; a dysfunctional mother/daughter relationship
pattern may have its roots in past generations.
