Transformational
Guide
Personal transformation: Unleash the power
of
self-acceptance and self-realization
Sandra
Miniere guides those who are ready and willing on the psychological
and spiritual journey of wholeness and self-actualization. She
assists you in recognizing and integrating the negative and
positive aspects of the personal shadow. She is able to help
you identify and work constructively with the archetypal symbols
and myths from the collective unconscious that are affecting
your personal development and life.
This
individuation journey allows the ego to take up the hero's quest
as it matures and gives up its illusion of supremacy over its
existence. As the ego dispels itself of distorted perceptions
and realigns itself with a Higher Power, it makes contact with
the guiding principle of the psyche, the Self. This developing
partnership allows the ego to become mindful of its existence
as a co-creator with unlimited, creative potential. The ego
evolves from a fear-based reality to a trusting spiritual alignment.
Expanding consciousness to include the unconscious realms, the
ego awakens to the intuitive voice of personal truth.
Duality
and transcendence
In
your quest for wholeness, you are asked to acknowledge and accept
the potential within your soul for good/evil, masculine/feminine,
being/doing, rational/irrational, trust/fear, warrior/victim,
sinner/saint, etc. Until you understand the dual nature of your
own psyche, you mistakenly get attached to the distortions of
one-sided truths. When you deny one aspect of a polarity, you
project it onto others and create a psychic imbalance. If only
good exists in me, I cannot see and work with my potential for
evil. For example, if I impose my righteous way on another,
I could miss the possibility of my harming them. Without objectivity
I may do more harm than good. The opposites are waiting to be
acknowledged, integrated, and transcended. Dreams, imagination,
visions, and even projections are important avenues through
which psychic imbalances and archetypes express themselves.
The messages they contain lead you to wholeness and truth.
The
non-attached viewpoint allows you to transcend imbalances and
discover truth. Realizing that both the victim parts of you
and warrior parts are illusions to be transcended, you are less
likely to identify with either. When you feel like a victim,
you will find a way out of that perception. When you feel like
a warrior, you will find a way to temper a charge that might
victimize you. Your transcendent nature lifts you into a dimension
that acknowledges both and identifies with neither. Non-attachment
leads to the clarity and objectivity of the silent witness.
With detached awareness the personal dramas and myths that obstruct
personal truth and empowerment dissolve. One by one fear-based
illusions fall away until grace and peace fill your body, mind,
and soul.
Truth
and Liberation
From
the ego struggling with disillusionment and stress to the Self
offering truth and liberation, you evolve spirituality. You
move from the limitations and ignorance of ego-bound awareness
to the unlimited potential and deep peace of your spiritual
nature. You leave the infantile dramas and myths based on early
conditioning behind and create new patterns of thoughts, feelings
and behaviors that serve and empower you. As you let go of and
move through the unmet needs of childhood, you encounter and
are filled with a self-contained essence--spirit.
As
you lift the veil of ignorance, you are free to release the
old patterns holding you captive and embrace the new patterns
revealing your true identity. The hero archetype within each
of us is mobilized for the quest of self-realization. A trusted
guide warns you of the detours and pitfalls and reminds you
that you are making progress. The journey of personal transformation
from the limited human condition to the expansion of your divine
potential is the ultimate quest.
Human
and divine
You
strengthen the ego's dominion over the human realm by living
in the reality of linear time with a past, present, and future;
controlling what you are capable of changing; and discerning
truth from illusion as you discriminate the helpful from the
harmful.
You
cultivate the spiritual dimensions of the Self by living in
the present moment; trusting the process of life and transformation;
and accepting, rather than resisting, yourself, others, life,
and Spirit.
Learning
to live in the paradox of these mirror opposites is a challenge.
As you integrate the human and divine realms within your soul
and life, you will create a personally rewarding life filled
the magic of spirit and reality of ego.
You
will learn to hear and decode the intuitive messages of the
unconscious whether through insights, dreams, visions or projections
onto the world. You will learn to think, speak, and live your
truth.
Silent
witness
To
become attuned to the creative, intuitive realms, you harness
the silent witness. As you still the body and mind to hear the
inner messages, you become more connected to an awareness that
is able to decode the messages of the inner world of the psyche
and external world of reality. To transcend is to become detached
for the purpose of witnessing and assessing with a neutrality
that cultivates wisdom and liberation. From this transcended
perspective, you witness the paradox of being both human and
divine in any given moment of time, in any given situation.
Your spiritual and human nature are working together for your
healing and evolution.

Case
Presentation
Frances
entered treatment because she witnessed a fatal automobile accident.
She was one of the first people on the scene after a van carrying
senior citizens went out of control on a major highway. She
witnessed death and physical carnage and suffered from post
traumatic stress disorder. We worked on eliminating the many
symptoms that were interfering with her work and life: Flashbacks,
sleep disturbance, gastrointestinal discomfort, feelings of
helplessness, guilt about not being able to do more, a heaviness
in her chest affecting her breathing, out-of-control crying,
anxiety, and grief. One month after using the energy psychology
techniques she eliminated the symptoms of PTSD. She could think
about the accident without discomfort and could drive by the
scene without being re-traumatized.
In
describing the surreal experience of being a source of comfort
to others, she realized that she was lifted into a state of
grace which enabled her to do what needed to be done. In addition
to the effects of the trauma, she began to explore the spiritual
aspects surrounding the event for her. We focused on the reasons
she was called to be a witness and helper. She recognized it
as a turning point toward personal growth and transformation.
We
explored the possibility that a Higher Power was calling her
to a greater reality. We began to discuss necessary life changes
in order to feed her soul and create a personally meaningful
life. She had attained success as a high level corporate executive
and secured the material acquisitions commensurate with her
position. However, the severe physical and psychological disturbances
of the past several years were indicators of imbalance in her
life. She was easily distracted from her work and agitated by
life situations. She began asking herself, "What price am I
paying for what I have achieved?" She had been in traditional
therapy for many years, however, she wanted to take up the challenge
of healing her soul as well as her mind and body. She invited
me to be her guide.
Significant
achievements on the journey
-She
is more accepting of herself, others, life, and God. She has
stopped judging life events as unfair and most of the time restrains
herself from getting angry when things don't go her way. She
seldom perceives herself as bad or inadequate when she doesn't
live up to her own expectations.
-She
is transforming control, tantrums, and turmoil into surrender,
trust, and inner peace. Her need to control the results of her
efforts is being replaced by a trust in the divine order of
life. She is less reactive and more likely to go with the flow
when a life event challenges and stresses her, i.e, a flat tire,
waiting in line, family interactions, incompetence, unfairness,
etc.
-She
has learned to channel and focus her creative energy rather
than strive anxiously toward perfection in her work. This grounding
in present moment awareness has freed her to work more efficiently,
accomplishing the same amount of work in less time.
-She
has become more accepting of her parents and the experiences
of her childhood. She has developed a positive attitude toward
her past because it has molded her identity. Consequently, she
is able to have a relationship with her parents that empowers
her. She sets reasonable limits with them in order to protect
her serenity.
-She
is developing the ability to witness the dramas and myths that
are being played out in her life as well as her mind without
becoming consumed and lost in them. The rigid, limiting belief,
"No one can do it as well as me," is slowly being changed to,
"There are some people I can trust." When she feels the tension
and pain in her back, she recognizes her body's wisdom and makes
the necessary adjustments. Going for a walk, taking a coffee
break, applying energy psychology techniques, or listening to
a meditation tape honors her body and leads to rapid symptom
relief.
-She
is cultivating an inner peace and focus that allow her to be
around the noise and chaos of others more easily. She can tolerate
being in social and work situations which were once perceived
as annoying. Instead of changing her physical location, she
now changes her focus.
-She
is able to connect with her spiritual essence and experience
profound energy shifts in her body. She now believes in transformation
because she has experienced peak states of consciousness. This
spiritual connection is replacing former feelings of hopelessness
that no one could fix what was wrong with her.
-She
is making a commitment to live in harmony with her soul, even
if that means changing her work environment. Her intuition and
physical body are working together. When she is in truth she
feels grounded and solid in her body; when she is not, she feels
spaced out. Her intuition is beginning to lead the way.
Frances
is being transformed. In nine months she has re-birthed herself.
Because of this rebirth, she relates differently to the world
of others and work as well as to herself and the divine. Most
important, when she is centered and calm, a healing radiance
emanates from her. She is more connected to herself, life, and
her spiritual nature. She cannot return to the ignorance of
who she thought she was and how she thought life worked, or
didn't. She is integrating her humanity and divinity. This inner
transformation is reflected in the quality of situations and
people she attracts in her life.
